Asiatic Lilies are carefree summer blooming bulbs! Plant this mix of Asiatic lilies in fall and watch them grow and bloom the following summer. Asiatic Lilies have blooms that face upward and tend to come in warm, bright colors like red, orange, yellow and pink. The blooms of Asiatic lilies are not fragrant.
These perennial lilies are hardy in most zones and can be grown in hardiness zones 3-9. Asiatic Lilies do best grown in full to part sun and soil that drains well. Lilies go dormant after blooming, therefore plant something that will fill the space in once they are in dormancy. Plant asiatic lilies about 6″ deep with spacing of 9-12″ per bulb.Â
