This variety is the result of crossing Allium aflatunense and Allium macleanii. Gladiator Allium blooms can grow up 4-5″ in diamter.  Very good cut flower, grows 3-4′. Blooms of the Gladiator Allium are compact, round and larger than Purple Sensation Allium.Â
